Here we are in April already. March was spent pruning and getting the Christmas tree section ready to be fenced. Rod and I also attended the Pacific NW Farm Direct Marketing Conf. in Victoria, BC. Got plenty of good ideas. (Derrick doesn't think we need any new ideas for this year, what with taking on the Christmas tree venture.) This morning, April 2nd, is cold...with a severe weather advisory in effect. Derrick is going to stay on the mountain to do some end of season skiing! We have put some of the Christmas trees on craigslist. We have to make way for the fence line and a lot of them are just plain in the way. People are responding and coming with shovels and backhoes. Think we will be ready to run the line soon!! stay warm!!
